Launch Housing Private Rental Support Application.

  • Welcome to the Launch Housing Private Rental Support Application.

    This form is used to apply for funding when you have been approved for a property and need help with the first month’s rent, you are behind in your rent or struggling to pay next month’s rent. 

    Before applying, you will need to collect some documents. Please ensure you have documents ready showing your:

    • Photo ID
    • Income (Centrelink income statement and or 6 weeks payslips)
    • Rental details (lease agreement or property approval from the agent)
    • You will be required to supply a bank statement to verify their income
    • A document with the bank details of your real estate agent or landlord

    The form may take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. You are able to use a mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer to complete this form.

     

    Please note that as you use this application form, there may be other criteria which can make you ineligible for PRAP.

    Before you can apply for Private Rental Support, we need to be sure that you understand your rights and give us your consent to collect, use and share your personal information.

  • Please go to https://www.launchhousing.org.au/feedback and read "Working Together" which has information about your rights and responsibilities, and how to provide feedback or make a complaint. When you have read it, please tick your responses below.

  • Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW)

    Every year the AIHW collects de-identified data from Launch Housing to use for research and planning homelessness services. Your name is not attached to this information but you are still asked to agree to share it with AIHW. Launch Housing shares de-identified information with the AIHW which can include:

    • Country of Birth
    • Indigenous Status
    • Type of institution recently left (eg hospital or prison)
    • Living arrangement of children in care or protection orders    
    • Formally diagnosed mental health conditions, when treatment was received and the source of this information.                                                                                                
  • I agree that Launch Housing can share my de-identified information with the AIHW.*

  • Your rent has been calculated at OVER 55% of your income which exceeds what is deemed sustainable long term. You are likely experiencing rental stress and may be eligible for support through our private rental suite of programs (PRAP,PRAP Plus or RSSP).
