Launch Housing Private Rental Support Application-Stream 2 Form

Welcome to the Launch Housing Private Rental Support Application.

This form is used to apply for funding when the client has been approved for a property and needs help with the first month’s rent, or they are behind in their rent or struggling to pay next month’s rent.

Before applying, you will need to collect some documents from your client. Please ensure you have the documents ready showing the client's:
- Photo ID
- Income (Centrelink income statement and or 6 weeks payslips)
- Your client will be required to supply a bank statement to verify their income
- Rental details (lease agreement or property approval from the agent)
- A document with the bank details of your real estate agent or landlord
The form may take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. You are able to use a mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer to complete this form.

Please note that as you use this application form, there may be other criteria which can make the client ineligible for PRAP.

Calculated Rental Percentage to Income
The above number is the percentage of their income that they pay for rent.

Your rent has been calculated at OVER 55% of your income which exceeds what is deemed sustainable long term. You are likely experiencing rental stress and may be eligible for support through our private rental suite of programs (PRAP,PRAP Plus or RSSP). Please note you may be offered non-financial support.
